The library posts different hours during the school year and the summer. There are certain days during the school year (e.g., Day of Prayer) when the library closes for the day or adjusts its hours so that staff can participate in these events. The library will always post signs and send out notices by email to notify library users about these closures and/or changes in hours.
September to Mid-April
Monday to Friday: 8AM – 10PM
Saturday: 11AM – 8PM
Sunday: Closed
Closed Tuesdays between 9am and 10pm for chapel.
Special hours may be in effect during holidays and campus events.
Mid-April to August
Monday to Friday: 8AM – 5PM
Saturday: Closed
Sunday: Closed
Closures are in effect during statutory holidays.
Online services such as access to the library catalogue, online databases, and online magazines & scholarly journals are available 24/7.
Library staff is available at library@prairie.edu or 403-443-5511 for virtual reference services and library questions from 8am - 5pm, Monday through Friday.
