Our Purpose

T. S. Rendall Library shall contribute to the achievement of the mission and goals of Prairie Bible Institute by serving the curricular and information needs of the faculty, students and staff of Prairie College and Prairie Aviation Training Centre (PATC) in accordance with their missions. In addition, the Library shall preserve the history represented in our collections of books, periodicals, audio-visual material, and archives.

Our Philosophy

T. S. Rendall Library is committed to the doctrinal position and philosophy of education of Prairie Bible Institute, and to the promotion of its overall mission.

The Library staff’s biblical worldview is holistic, relating all of creation, life and learning to God under the Lordship of Christ. The Christian faith of the Library staff justifies their commitment to service, intellectual freedom, preservation, and literacy.

The purpose of the staff is to encourage the students in their preparation for the work of ministry in life and vocation, and to serve all Library users for the edifying of the Body of Christ. The factual and objective nature of Christianity requires that books and other resources be used for education and edification, and that system and order be applied to all informational and educational services supplied by the staff of the Library.

The Library is an integral and essential part of Prairie Bible Institute. It serves the informational and educational needs of faculty, students and others. It is service-oriented; an agency existing to minister to the needs of its community.
